damn scanner!! cut off the right side. :(

reading content is slightly mature, for psychological/disturbing reasons only! just be prepared!

Ron and Hermione in their home. The setting is around the time of the epilogue in Deathly Hallows give or take a few years. They're in their mid 30's.
Basically Ron has been having trouble with nightmares and paranoia. He went downstairs to cool off and his loving wife came down to check on him. he's been through so much: the Battle of Hogwarts, Fred dying, having to endure listening to Hermione being tortured by Bellatrix, etc...not to mention all the hell he went through in Book 1-6.
this particular nightmare was bellatrix torturing hermione and him not being able to save her. it's his most prevalent nightmare, obviously because that is what he fears more than anything: hermione getting hurt.

but here's the truth. ron is a gentle soul. he doesn't like to admit it, and he tries really hard not to show it, but he is just not as strong as Harry and Hermione. When it comes to dealing with the trauma of those events. It's the reason why he left the group in Deathly Hallows, because the necklace affected him alot worse than it affected Harry and Hermione. it went after his heart.

it's a good thing Hermione is such a strong woman. :aww: but this is a sadder piece, because it's real, and this is what happens in real life. and i tried to give a bit of that to this couple, because they're so amazing.
and that is little Rose on the staircase worrying about her father. :'(

ps. isn't hermione such a little hoochie mama in her nightslip?? and ron's so cute in his matching Chudley Cannons pjsss. he's just a big kid. :P LOVE IT. :B

God, you're so good at conveying emotion in your drawings! :wow: Hermione's concerned expression totally demonstrates this. Wonderful job.

I pity poor Ron. =( Of course he'd have nightmares. I agree that he's much softer than Hermione and Harry, but there's certainly nothing wrong with that. I think it works to his advantage in a lot of ways (it's also a bit of a flaw, too, I get that) and it'd probably make him a great father. =D ;)
